Motivated by the recent discovery of unconventional insulating and superconducting states in twisted bilayer graphene, the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences (Kavli ITS) at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in Beijing will hold a mini-workshop on Electron Correlation and Superconductivity in Graphene and Related Materials: Moire is Different, aiming at motivating discussions and collaborations in this emerging research area.
