Title: Cosmological aspects of non-local infinite derivative gravity theories

Abstract: It is a short review of recent (and not so) papers in collaboration with Sravan Kumar, Alexei Starobinsky and Anna Tokareva in which we develop a non-local infinite derivative generalization of gravity. I will go in more details through the field theoretical aspects of such models and some peculiarities of the infinite derivative gravity theories. I will specifically elaborate on the connection to String Field Theory. Cosmological implications of such gravity models will be highlighted.
